NeuroMovement®

for Children

Ignite the power of brain plasticity to create new connections in your child’s brain for real life change and remarkable new possibilities.

Empower your child beyond limitations in movement, thinking, and self-regulation with Neuromovement

Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® is a science-based approach for waking up your child’s brain, providing it with the information and conditions to grow, develop and thrive. Neuromovement® has been helping children of all ages and a variety of conditions for 30 years. Through this powerful work, children have overcome many limitations and experience surprising new possibilities!

With Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, we understand that the job of the brain is to put order in the disorder and make sense out of the nonsense. Using NeuroMovement® and the 9 Essentials, you can create optimal conditions for your child’s brain to successfully do its job.

We do not seek to “fix” the child. Rather we look to connect with the child and serve as a bridge for the child to connect to her or himself.

We know that the brain requires the feeling of safety and great variability in order to become the brilliant brain it can be.

Autism

Behavioural Intervention Services for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an adjunct service offering, working in concert with Prodigy Movement in Cowichan Bay.  Two of the practitioners at Prodigy Movement are mothers to children diagnosed with ASD, and have a combined 16 years of dynamic additional training and experience, both personally and professionally, to bring supportive and marked outcomes to children with an ASD diagnosis who participate in our BI Services.

We work primarily with loving, judgement-free social interaction, communication and engagement, and work one-on-one with these children using loving, gentle, respectful child-led, play-based games and connection in accordance with family goals and the overall goals within the Behavioural Plan of Intervention for each child. These services can bring significant improvement in some of the following areas:

  • Non-verbal and verbal communication (emergence and growth of spontaneous communication and speech);
